Really nice kids and dog friendly park
Washington Heights spot with a ton of history. Highest natural point in Manhattan—there's a marker for it. Old Fort Washington site from the Revolutionary War, little memorials around. Playground is solid for kids, benches to sit, views of the GWB and river from the west side. Pretty quiet, feels like a neighborhood secret. Nice for a quick stop.
