DON'T GO HERE!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Save your money. I wish I'd gone to walmart instead. -2 months, 7 visits later I still do not have 100% clear vision. 1. I have Davis vision, went in to get a spare pair made (no issues with vision then)- my Rx changed some, they said, 2 weeks later I had not adjusted to the new Rx. 2. Ms I would not recommend this place to anyone! I went here for an eye exam with Dr. Bennett. He was the most rudest doctor that I have ever had. When I went to check out I asked for my eyeglass persciption and had nothing but a hassle. I was told that they had great frame selection. Yeah they do if you want to pay top dollar. The frame I like was at another place for almost $75.00 less. I finally left this place without my perscription and had to have the company call to get it when I ordered my glasses. Bennett Optometry use caution I was treated very poorly by this office. Was pressured to buy a pic of my eye that would sub for the dilation. Pic cost $25, was not covered by insurance and the doc insisted on dilation after pic was taken. I was then put into the waiting room for 30 minutes while doc examined someone else. I was told to pick frames. Unfortunately picking frames with my contacts out and my eyes dilated is impossible. Don't know why this would not be obvious to a competent eye doc. Mrs. I was very happy with this practice. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help me with my insurance I don't quite understand. I did not have to wait any longer then it took to fill out some paperwork. I read the previous person's complaints and I know the photo was optional for me so I opted to do it. They would have dialated me as part of my exam if I didn't want to purchase the photo. I don't care for dialation and it was explained to me the photo was a more cutting edge test and they would see much more then... read more
Friendly staff I have been going to Bennett's for years for my optometry needs. For the most part, I usually only need my yearly eye exam and recommendation. They have very friendly staff and easy appointments to get in to. The usually run on time and the eye exam takes less than an hour. They have a large selection of frames but they are usually more expensive than I would like to spend. They don't pressure you to purchase the frames there and will give your prescription to take elsewhere.
