This was the most bizarre and unprofessional experience my wife (the patient) and I have ever had with a health care professional, anywhere, ever. My wife was seen once by Dr. Jacoby and then for no reason, several weeks later, he refused to continue treating her. Not only did he refuse, but he gave no reasons and would not speak to my wife about his decision. Having to reschedule an appointment is not an option for this business. I spoke to Heather who is the receptionist. And she said to call when the doctor is available. The doctor said it is their policy, and you will not be able to have another appointment made with him. They need two working days notice. In other words your stuck, even if you have a reasonable explanation. Being a full payment customer is not going to help either.
