We just left the venue after the a wedding, and I can honestly say that the property owner completely ruined what should have been one of the happiest and most memorable days for our family. The wedding reception space is lovely, clean and comfortable on a summer night with a nice breeze through the lean to. Theresa cares about the guests and is accommodating to your requests. As someone else pointed out there is no indoor restrooms at the site but the outdoor ones are cleaned prior to each event and there is a handwashing station.
I was a guest at a wedding. This venue Needs restroom improvements. A stand of porta-potties is not the desired vibe for a wedding. They had not been emptied recently - which made it worse. The portable sinks for hand-washing were not all functioning, nor the soap dispensers. The Barn looks nice and space was adequate for a reception with dancing. Outdoor seating for ceremony was nice. It's a beautiful venue, very helpful owner. Reading the other reviews, I understand how they could feel that way easily. I think in the end she means well from my experience. I would recommend the venue!
The venue itself was beautiful and made for a gorgeous wedding day. However, the owner of the venue made the experience feel stressful at times because we were constantly watched while setting up the day before We also felt rushed out after our rehearsal supper before our allotted time was over. I was going to set up this snack table, but she rushed me out and insisted that she would do it tomorrow.
