Overpriced for just average food – The restaurant is large with ample parking & valet available but is has a very dated interior. Service was very good, no complaints there. The food was plain and upon viewing the menu it was clear that creativity was not the restaurant's goal. As a matter of fact, no chef's specials were offered. My husband ordered oysters which were not shucked properly and were sent back. For some reason, the oysters were served 5 per order opposed to the usual half dozen or dozen per order. nice atmosphere This is an upscale restaurant with a very nice atmosphere and decent prices. It is a nice place for a special occasion. The staff is always friendly and effecient.
restaurant Although pricey the food is grest and the atmosphere peaceful. We have earen here several times on holidays and always been happy. I would recommend for special occasions.
Benjamin's Great Atmosphere, good service, lots of parking and easy to find. Food is excellent and price are moderate for this upscale restaurant. It is a nice place to go on special occasions.
never changing While this is an upscale restaurant in the area, I rarely ever see the menu changing. The serving sizes are at least realistic and I do like the salads. Since they don't take reservations, the wait to get in can be lengthy.
Over-rated?! – A nice enough restaurant, the crowd gives it an institutional feel. They refused a reservation for two so when we got there we were forced to wait more than an hour for a table. Some guests who arrived after us were seated before us with no explanation from the host. An extensive and varied menu made for an enjoyable meal, once the waiter found us.
ORSUM – EVERY THING WAS JUST GREAT, THE FOOD, THE SERVICE AND THE PRICE AND THE COMFORT.
Talk about romantic!!! – On September 1st, 2002 my husband and I had our wedding reception at Benjamin's. How much more romantic can you get? The service was top-notch, the food was exquisite and the ambience was perfect! We felt as though we were king and queen for the night, the staff treated us so well!
