Dr Petre is awesome. I tore all the ligaments in one of my knees in a traumatic injury. He operated on my right knee and replaced all the ligaments. I have full use of my knee with no residual pain. Amazing. I would recommend him to anyone considering knee surgery.

In 2020 I was operated on for a plateau fracture. I was never told my options especially the one where I waited o have knee surgery. Big mistake. I’m crippled now. He didn’t even find time to explain what went wrong, his PA did that. Orthopedic surgery is too important, find another doctor.

Saw him today for FAI/Right Hip Torn Labrum - such a nice man!!! excellent bedside manners and easy to chat with. He is to the point and on point with his assessment and management of my condition. He answered all of my main questions. As a gift for him, I came in organized with my thoughts, pertinent records, CDs and kept it to the point and brief which I am certain any doctor appreciates. He is busy! So I remained respectful of his time. I had some additional concerns about my knee joint and asked if I could make another a... read more

I’m surprised by the negative reviews I’ve seen here. I have had nothing but good encounters with Dr. Petre and his staff. He’s always very patient and willing to answer all of my questions and explains things well. I’ve been seeing him for hip pain from labral tears in both hips for the past 5+ years. He’s very conservative and recommended trying to manage it with physical therapy and steroid injections. That worked for a while, but doesn’t seem to be helping much anymore. I started having hamstring pain and found out I tor... read more

Dr. Petre is phenomenal. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. Recently, at 38 I tore my ACL and Meniscus. Dr. Petre answered my endless questions and took his time explaining pros and cons to different grafts and options. Surgery went perfectly and I couldn't be happier. At 12 weeks post op I'm feeling stronger everyday and couldn't be more thankful for the care Dr. Petre gave. Thank you!

Waited 3 months for surgery for an ACL replacement. The morning prior to surgery it was cancelled with no idea when they can reschedule. Unprofessional

I visited with Dr. Petri the first week in February 2022 at the request of his my pain specialist within the same practice. The MRI showed torn anterior and posterior labrum tears in the left hip. Pain in my hip, groin, leg and the knee. As a Senior, I am not athletic in the least. So this is, no sports injury. As a 42 year veteran nurse, I am cautious and appreciate being included in my care. Dr. Petri was rude, sarcastic, and I left not knowing what was going on, despite my own efforts to ask questions. What I have learned... read more

My surgery for a plateau fracture with Dr Petre failed and I am crippled. I very much wish I had waited for a knee replacement instead and found a doctor more suited to elderly patients. He was unavailable to me for months as the phone system was never answered, albeit this was 2020 and Covid.
