I have suffered from chronic migraine since at least 2014. I have seen several neurologist who failed to understand the complexity of my chronic migraine. Dr. Benjamin Koo Is incredibly knowledgeable and came up with a multitiered plan for me in case option A, option B and so forth do not work. Today was my first visit with Dr Koo. It was a video visit per my request. He was kind, knowledgeable and answered my questions that I had. I switched from a not so kind neurologist that would make me feel uncomfortable and not answer my questions. Dr Koo made me feel much better. I’m looking forward to having him help me..
Dr. Koo was extremely attentive and friendly. I have had doctors be extremely dismissive, but Dr. Koo took me and my symptoms seriously.
This physician, while very nice, is incompetent in my experience. He is very young, and without practical experience. Though I may be wrong in my assessment of his abilities, he struck me as the kind of person who can only learn from a book. All of the future years of practical experience may well be wasted on someone who may never be able to think outside the proverbial box.
