You're not going to find a more dedicated staff than the ones here. These staff members came to work despite not being paid for 5 weeks to ensure the care of the residents! They stood up and fought for the Benjamin to be saved! We are #Benjaminstrong!
I came in April to assist with the re-build. I became a convert after watching the staff. The care is unmatched. The food is top shelf. New Administrator, new maintenance, new menus, new housekeeping, new look!! My Mom is now a resident and she couldn't be happier. When she's happy, we're happy.
They take very good care of my mom, she likes it there and has made new friends. This is one of the only long term care facilities in Boston and the staff have been instrumental in making sure the elders are cared for at all times.
When I last visited my mom on the 4th of July at the Benjamin Healthcare Facility. She was telling me how nice all the staff were and trying to introduce me to everyone. Since, the new management has taken over you can see the difference. Staff had brought her lunch, removed the tray afterwards and cleaned up. She was given a nice ice cream treat which she loved and checked on her as well to see if she needed assistance; the response was appropriate and timely.
