I knew Doctor Tanner was going to be my bari surgeon before I was even serious about having it. Great bedside manner I knew I was in good hands. It’s still very early post op but I feel great overall. I would recommend him to anybody. That whole office is alright with me:)
My wife had weight loss surgery performed by this surgeon. She lost weight drastically and her general practice doctor said was losing weight too fast and wanted her to come off the system. She could barely keep any food or drink in her stomach and kept having fainting spells and vomiting up anything she consumed. She had her surgery in February 2020 by time she passed away in June of 2021 she was nothing more than skin and bones. She was completely fine until she had surgery by this doctor. This doctor is the most down to earth person you will ever meet. You just know you're in safe hands with him. And that's something you just don't hear about anymore
Dr. Tanner is the best. He has been good to me and my family. He goes above and beyond and I am so glad I have him as a surgeon because he has always been there for me.
I have been in Louisville for about 19 month. I am so lucky that Dr. Tanner did my surgery at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. I did not know him before surgery, but am glad to say I know him now. A true professional.
He is extremely understanding and knowledgeable. Even in aftercare, he still listens and doesn't push you through like cattle on your appts. He talks to you like a person rather than lecturing like a doctor which I find reassuring. Even when you fall off track a little, he realizes that happens time to time and will help you find your way back without making you feel like a failure.
Dr. Tanner is an excellent weight loss Dr.. He is very understanding and compassionate.
