Absolutely stunning gold ring made, came into the Ponsonby store, tried a few rings on for fitting, made my desicion and requested an altered shape, not a problem, emailed my crest design through with some requests for alteration, couple of days later got some designs sent through, chose one which was perfect right off the first draft, within a week later my ring was at my door, definitely an eye catcher and already wanting another one, much appreciated :)

Thank you so much Benjamin and team. I gave him his wedding ring at Putaruru blue springs as we shared a bottle of champagne. He said it is easily the most amazing ring he has ever seen. The Rubies and 18ct yellow gold pair so well. Very solid and heavy. Thank you so much. We will be back 😊

Not a bad review in sight and I can definitely tell why! After getting mislead by another popular jewellers in nelson to get my engagement ring resized (didn’t engage with me, told me my diamond ring wasn’t real diamonds that they were cubic zirconia, too difficult of a setting to resize but they also couldn’t melt and remould because adding more gold to make it bigger would cause it to crack, saying because it’s not pure gold either and i can’t wear it to work as it will tarnish and quoting me $2500 + 20% of the original ri... read more

Couldn’t be happier with the experience. This is the first time I’ve had a ring custom made and it was worth every cent. The people at Benjamin Black were very easy to work with, and very efficient. For me it was a very large expense and one I was very hesitant about, not knowing what the final product would look like, but I have wanted something to represent the years of dedication I’ve put into cat rescue for a long time so I went ahead and it exceeded my expectations in every way.
