I hate Banneker so much! it’s not a school for me.
I'm rating as a 3 because I have no first hand knowledge of the situation at the present time. However, I do know Banneker was once a School of Excellence and it was great academically as well as all around experiences. I truly believe the decline in status was intentionally orchestrated by "the powers that be". They couldn't allow a public high school located in the middle of a predominantly African-American community excel in this manner and the best way to halt it's success was to rezone. Check it out.
