Total joke of a place. They charged me $4,000 to get my ‘68 Corvair running smoothly. Ended up with it breaking down and the dented my car on the rear fender. Avoid this place at ALL cost. They should be taken to court and closed down.
Horrible communication. You get an estimate from Benhase and assume you will pay more at the end of the day up to 100% over estimate. They hide behind the "time and materials shop" quote. It doesn't matter if their guy is sick and spending their time in the bathroom, you get billed the time they are (suppose) to be on your car. My restoration was agreed upon I would be part of process and yet things were not communicated to me and according to them it was my fault.
