I think we found the waterfall, but it was rather anticlimactic and not even really a fall, but rather a slightly steep rapid.
So lots of good reviews of the brevity and beauty of this quick 1/2 mile hike but one of the things that jumped out most to me was the duality of the topography as you strolled along the Deschutes from the trailhead to the falls. Great hike, thankfully other dogs on the trail were friendly, as there were a lot off leash. Beautiful weather today made for a good hike.
