Food was excellent. Authentic, not spicy, home made feeling. Recommend the Akki roti and the chole bhature
We had a wonderful tome here for Sunday lunch. Friendly atmosphere & great food! It’s really heartwarming to see regional Indian food starring the menu - Maddur Wade were fresh & crispy, great coconut chutney, fresh Kosambari. The delicate craftsmanship for Thalipattu roti was noteworthy. However being a small place with handful of staff, I can see the place getting overwhelmed during busy times.
This place is quaint ,cozy and the food is homely. It’s not pretentious but it is definitely made with intention. The owner is kind and always assures to answer any questions about any dishes or make suggestions to your palate. We have become regulars and any dish I’ve tried has been tasty.
Had a wonderful experience at Bengalur Ootery in Foster City! “The Food with a Soul” The food is flavorful, comforting, and beautifully rooted in the authentic flavors of Bengaluru and South India. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared, with layers of spices and that unmistakable homestyle warmth that makes you savor every bite. The welcoming ambiance and friendly service made the experience even more enjoyable. It’s wonderful to have a place that brings the spirit and flavors of Bengaluru to the Bay Area.
