Wow.....called to make an appointment for my Mom. Couldn't talk to someone so left a message & did get a call back.They said they would call with an appointment for this coming year when we left her last appointment & I said I didn't hear anything yet. Was told well you saw the doctor in 2025 in March....I made a mistake and said I don't think so. Was told yes she did with attitude. I apologized,but still attitude. Wow !!! This place was super nice, kind, and friendly with both my husband and I!! The receptionist that checked him in was very nice (sorry I don't remember her name). Audrey the nurse who called us back was also very nice and respectful and listened to my husband and I when he spoke and they valued what I had to say as a wife who is involved in his care. I have had great interactions with everyone within the Heart and Vascular Unit. But whomever answers the main Benefis phone line is absolutely unprofessional and completely rude.
I called to check on the date and time of my appointment and talk about crude, rude, nasty receptionist. If this is who greets people for the cardiology department, makes me wonder about the people I’ll be seeing!
Whoever was working as the phone operator on 12/2/23 couldn’t be bothered to transfer me over to cardiology or the on call cardiologist. They were unapologetically useless, and their supervisors should be aware of their incompetence.
