Keep me in the know of what is going on. I sent four years at Sacred Heart School as a boarder. Sure would like to see more "Sister" names used because that was how we knew them.
Recommendedmy Aunt Sister Joan Marie Soukup osb resided there and is buried on the grounds amongst the other sisters she went to our Lord in 2004 .greatly missed..I come to visit the monastery every may and attend Sunday mass. when I come out to Lockport to visit my Mom .zi drive every year from Tucson Arizona to visit.this year 2019 I didnt make the trip and I'm sure Sister Judith Ann was looking for me..I didnt make the trip as my Mom moved to kentucky.and with myself getting older and have to travel alone. The building and grounds were old, but they were in good shape The on sight church really was the highlight of this facility. When you can no longer drive but still wish to attend church, how wonderful to be able to do so. I thought the restaurant style dining also was great for families wanting a great meal with their loved one, but not wanting the stress of leaving the safety of the facility. I've gone to afternoon pray services and weekday mass. Besides the beauty of the chapel, the sisters themselves are so beautiful and kind. These visits have certainly increased my love of the Church and of Jesus.
