Hands down the best vet in the San Lorenzo Valley (maybe even Santa Cruz County!). Dr. Keil is amazing, she has cared for our rats, cats, and dogs for decades. Never had a bad experience, and her expert advice is priceless.
Dr. Keil and her certified vet nurse Keri have been amazing with our dog. They cared for my beloved collie Lucy for many years, and each time they saw her, they did an outstanding job---especially since Lucy had reactive dog issues and I'll just say my big girl wasn't easy to deal with. Then the heartbreaking time came when Lucy was diagnosed with nasal cancer that had spread to her brain and lymph. Dr. Keil is very professiona and compassionate!!! I highly recommend her and her staff! They handled a difficult situation with my service dog, Duchess with the upmost care and excellent professionalism! Thanks ladies for taking such good care of Duchess and I!
Dr. Keil came to our home Tuesday evening to euthanize our elderly cat. She texted us when she was 30 minutes away and arrived in a smaller vehicle instead of the RV...very smart due to our one-lane roads and tight turns in our neighborhood. This is the first time we had met her, but trusted friends and neighbors recommended her. I am deeply saddened, frustrated and disappointed in the unfeeling, unethical manner in which Jen Keil treated my 16 year old cat's end of life situation. She demanded that he have an examination prior and when I told her I didn't want to put him through an unnecessary uncomfortable exam and asked her if she would please help him and if she could not please give me a referral to someone else that could help; SHE IGNORED ME, NO RESPONSE.
