Dr. Samantha Bender is tremendous! She is extremely professional, looks at all the angles, and her reports and analysis are detailed and extensive. She makes the child being tested feel comfortable. She gathers information at all times you work with her. I highly recommend her.
We have used Dr. Bender twice for educational testing, and found her to be exceptional. Her reports are very detailed and accurate (school officials tell us that her reports are noticeably more specific than some other providers), and any potential alternative explanation is addressed and excluded based on evidence. That gives us confidence in the conclusions. We found her easy to work with and our children were very comfortable working with her as well. Highly recommended.
I have rarely given less than a 4 star review if any at all. But in this case - having recently heard of another family who dewcribed a nearly identical experiences with Dr. Bender - I felt compelled to write. Dr. Bender provided such poor testing services that we were compelled to scrap our evaluation and pay a different provider to do virtually the same evaluation. I am so thankful for Dr. Bender. She has been there to administer tests and provide detailed and thoughtful care to our child. Not only is Dr. Bender kind, compassionate, and experienced, but she is well connected. She successfully helped us identify and access the specialized care we needed for our child.
I had a very positive meeting with Dr. Bender where I could appreciate both her level of expertise, as well as the warm and kind manner in which she relates to her patients. I was impressed by her commitment to her patients and all the work she puts in to advocate on their behalf. Her ability to speak in multiple languages is an asset to her patients.
