I originally posted a positive review for Dr Vraniak, and I still stand by that review. However, she has since left the practice, and my files were transferred over to Dr O’Sullivan, who I cannot recommend. I echo other reviews describing her as acting superior and dismissing my concerns. But this isn’t even the worst of it. They did a great job for me!
I would not recommend this practice. During a new patient consult, Dr. O'Sullivan told me I needed to change my contraception based on a "requirement" for a drug holiday after 6 years on Nexplanon, and a risk of osteoporosis from "high-dose progesterone." Neither claim is supported by the Nexplanon prescribing information, FDA labeling, or any clinical guideline. The osteoporosis risk she described applies to a different medication entirely. I scheduled myself here for a new PT appointment on 2/3 at nearly 4pm having never been into bend gynecology before. At 5 pm I realized I mixed up days and could not make an 11:30am appointment the following day 2/4. I called the office at 7:45 to get in touch as soon as possible to reschedule- not cancel. I still wanted to be a patient. I was told there is a 24 hour cancellation policy and because I was not within that window I would be charged a cancellation fee which I agree is fair- but I work in medical scheduling.
