I originally posted a positive review for Dr Vraniak, and I still stand by that review. However, she has since left the practice, and my files were transferred over to Dr O’Sullivan, who I cannot recommend. I echo other reviews describing her as acting superior and dismissing my concerns. But this isn’t even the worst of it. I would not recommend this practice. During a new patient consult, Dr. O'Sullivan told me I needed to change my contraception based on a "requirement" for a drug holiday after 6 years on Nexplanon, and a risk of osteoporosis from "high-dose progesterone." Neither claim is supported by the Nexplanon prescribing information, FDA labeling, or any clinical guideline. The osteoporosis risk she described applies to a different medication entirely.
