They have seen two of our chaos goblins, one feline and one canine, and have taken excellent care of both. Yes, they're wildly expensive because they're an emergency vet clinic, but 1) they're up front about it and 2) the doctors and staff are VERY good, thorough, compassionate, and make you feel good about forking over a lot of money. It's never our choice to come here, but when you have to, they do a great job. I also appreciate the free coffee and snacks.
I brought in my dog Ares because he had cheatgrass that lodged between his toes that moved up into his arm and got infected. The staff did an amazing job of getting him into their care and taking care of the issue quickly. Compared to other emergency care centers I have been to, the quality of care and treatment time here were extensively better. Would recommend bringing your animals here if needed.
Amazing staff! Very open and honest about treatments and conditions. Very flexible with prices and very caring towards the animals they are treating!

We are so grateful to have had the wonderful care and support of the team at Bend Animal Emergency and Speciality when our precious Lady was diagnosed with hyperthyroid and chronic pancreatitis in May 2025. Dr Sue Dougherty is terrific and caring. She is so communicative and gives great explanations for everything. Tricia and other members of the staff are so kind and thoughtful. They helped us throughout the hospitalization and in the weeks and months after. Lady is a complicated case and so we have needed lots of support. ... read more
