I can't thank Bend Hospital for Animals enough for the incredible care they’ve given my beagle, Louie. When Louie had a seizure, we were scared and unsure of what to do. The staff at the hospital were calm, compassionate, and thorough in every step of the process. From the moment we arrived, they made Louie feel comfortable and cared for. The vet explained everything in detail, gave us options for next steps, and ensured we knew what to do in case of another seizure. They didn’t rush us at all and answered every question wit... read more

Bend Animal Emergency and Specialty Center took good care of Rigby. He went in for Hyperthyroidism and was treated with I-131. The staff was accommodating and very understanding. They were friendly, and called or emailed every day Rigby was at the Specialty Center to give me updated on his well being. The success of the treatment is still to be determined. However, Rigby had T4 values greater than 20 and when he left the center the T4 value was 7.5. That value will continue to go down over time. Dr. Gretchen Rowe was knowled... read more

We really wrestled with the decision to administer radioiodine therapy to our 9 year old kitty. But I was so impressed by Dr. Roe's vast knowledge of the procedure (even though it is fairly new to Bend)! She spent about an hour over several phone conversations discussing the procedure, side effects, and other options we had for treatment. We had a "pre-treatment" meeting where I was asked about all of our cat's daily habits (so the staff could make her as comfortable during her stay as possible). I received daily updates fro... read more

Our Bassett had an emergency vomiting and diarrhea that would not stop. Their intervention and care I believe saved her little life. They were very open with their communication and accommodating to us pet parents. We could rest knowing she was being well cared for.

Excellent experience, dedicated and efficient medical team. They took such great care of Oliver while he was in for his I-131 treatment. Daily updates, along with several check ins after he came home. The follow up care from Dr Rowe and Tricia has been just as informative and helpful, as it was when we cane in for Oliver's consultation. Thank you for all you do and I'm looking forward to work with you over the next few mo ths while we navigate what is best for Oliver Christina
