Stopped by on a weeknight around 8pm expecting a quiet crowd and instead caught a solid local hockey game with way more energy than I anticipated. Parking was easy and free right by the east entrance, which made getting in and out painless after the final buzzer. The staff at the concession stand were friendly and quick even during the rush at intermission, and the ice views from the upper section were surprisingly great for the price. Ceiling is too low, no customer service.
Nice court. However there was no ac inside the facility which left the floor insanely slippery, humid and smelly. Couldn’t even play properly. A sports facility needs to have ac. The smell I understand not totally their fault but that slippery off a floor can lead to injuries. A bunch of us even slipped and fell but luckily we’re all okay. Would recommend other courts if problem is not fixed .
They were soo good before. Their old coaches actually cared they interacted with the kids. Now when the new management came they hired coaches who didn’t care to be there sitting down for the most of the practice and did not care about their jobs.
Roof height is low for volleyball No AC or fan
