⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My father spent his last year of life at Chelmsford Crossings. We’ve all heard stories of assisted living shortcomings. NOT SO WITH CHELMSFORD CROSSINGS. They were all my family could have hoped for and more.
Chelmsford Crossings was a wonderful place for my mom during her short respite stay. We moved her there as a transition from rehab after a broken ankle, and from the moment she arrived, everyone was welcoming and inclusive not just to Mom, but to our family and all her visitors. The facility is beautifully maintained and very clean, and the food was excellent with thoughtful accommodations for her diabetic needs. My mom has been living at Chelmsford Crossings for a little over 4 months and she loves it! She had lived in an independent living facility in Florida and it was not a positive experience. She moved back up here to live with my sister and her family, but had no social life of her own. At Chelmsford Crossings she has people to talk with, dine with, play games and go on outings with. My 97 year old Dad moved in about 2 months ago. The transition was a bit challenging for him personally. The staff at Benchmark could not have been more supportive. They’ve all learned his name, helped him to join in activities, and even know his order in the restaurant before he asks. He is lucky to be able to speak his native Creole when Evitha comes to check on him, Deb always makes sure he has his favorite ice cream and Shane has fielded calls and chats with us as we worked towards him feeling at home.
