My mom has been living at Chelmsford Crossings for a little over 4 months and she loves it! She had lived in an independent living facility in Florida and it was not a positive experience. She moved back up here to live with my sister and her family, but had no social life of her own. At Chelmsford Crossings she has people to talk with, dine with, play games and go on outings with. My 97 year old Dad moved in about 2 months ago. The transition was a bit challenging for him personally. The staff at Benchmark could not have been more supportive. They’ve all learned his name, helped him to join in activities, and even know his order in the restaurant before he asks. He is lucky to be able to speak his native Creole when Evitha comes to check on him, Deb always makes sure he has his favorite ice cream and Shane has fielded calls and chats with us as we worked towards him feeling at home. This actually is a ten star establishment. From the outstanding staff to gorgeous building, this has surpassed our expectations.
We moved my aunt from Boston to Chelmsford Crossings after she had a bad fall. I wanted her to be closer to where I live. She agreed and we met with the staff and they couldn’t have been more helpful. She moved in and has been there for 6 weeks and she tells me she’s home. She has so many friends already and loves it there. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful place in Chelmsford, MA.
