Walked in as a new patient and was immediately hit by a cloud of Pumpkin Spice air fragrance. Kinda strange for a health entity. Collected my paperwork and sat down to complete it. Was immediately struck by a very loud and obnoxious therapist, working on a client, and speaking at a high enough volume to drown out everything else going on. Spencer was great to work with for my ankle injury and Tracy was always friendly and helpful when you walk in the door or on the phone.
On April 8th, I visited the Academy Orthopedic office next to this location for an injury to my hand. They suggested I have a cast and called Benchmark to see if they had availability to make the cast. They did and I walked to their office to have the cast made. The cast took maybe 30 minutes to complete. I was told my costs would be around $70 depending on insurance. I paid a $25 office co-pay. When I received a bill from them, they are asking for $97.02. Iam not sure why this location received a 4.3 rating. I made the mistake a selected BenchMark Therapy at the Morrow location, where the therapist came in past your appointment time, did not listen to you concerns and care was not consistent. I was e-mailed and called by this location several times inquiring my option of the care I received. I send my option asking for the regional office contact information -which I have not received to this date June 27, 2022. The request was made over 3 weeks ago. Be informed, Be aware.
after my shoulder replacement I went to Benchmark Athens Tn. for my therapy. Now these people are 110% down for making you better. I have not met all there but my therapist "Emily Lawson" is just wonderful and awesome at what she does, always ready with that big beautiful smile and ready to help with your problems. I would recommend all there people to anyone that may need there help in recovery. So if in need of Therapy you cannot go wrong being in there hands. Bill Williams
People were nice but they told me that I was going to pay around $100 for one time therapy and they billed $352 to my insurance. I went there twice to confirm the amount and they told me around $100 per section not $352. I’m leaving this review so other people won’t have to go through this like I did!
