We have had two real estate closings in the last 12 months and the Benchmark Mortgage team helped keep us sane. They were responsive and kept us on track to hit our closings.
We applied for a refinance back in November to get a better interest rate. We were told that we were approved and it was sent to underwriting - no further action was needed on our part. We stopped getting updates 3 weeks ago. Today, which is when we were told to expect to close, we called for an update. It never passed through underwriting. You never speak to the same person twice and no one ever knows what's going on with your application. I do NOT recommend you try to do business with this group.
