Dishonest service. I never leave google reviews but I had to comment on my experience. This company came out to examine a septic tank in a house I was in contract for. They mentioned that I needed a new aerator. I reached out to a different company to come repair the aerator. They said they could not locate it. I reach back out to Benchmark, specifically the person that conducted my inspection. I asked him where he found the aerator at and he said he could not find it ether. Useless inspection. Asked to come out to evaluate termites in a property I considered buying. I knew there were termites, but wanted to know how bad it was. Their report only said there was evidence of termites. No insight or recommendations on needed repairs, significance of infestation, or methods to treat. Did not give any advise on remediation companies. Pretty much told me to call a treatment company and have them look at it. Zero help at all, only good part was that they came out quick.
Great company
Benchmark has the most helpful and friendliest staff. They have always gone above and beyond to help me with my inspection needs. Their reports are easy to read and always timely. Many times with purchasing a home, we have tight timelines (especially in this recent market), and Benchmark has done amazing work to help us get our reports by the deadline. Tim Thomas gave a 5 star review and he is one of their employee's He did the water test on my house twice. I'm selling my house and Benchmark did a water test. Failed two times. They took the water from the kitchen sink and the bathroom. A new company came out and took the water from the tap at the pressure tank and my test came back with no problem. I was told by at least 5 people the you should never take water from the kitchen sink or bathroom because of the amount of bacteria that is in the screens. THIS IS A GOOD ONE! T... read more
