We recently visited the restaurant when I had family visiting from India and we specifically told the manager and people taking our order that we're vegetarian and would not want to order any dishes that had meat. We orderded a paneer dish that was recommended by the staff but was served a chicken dish. This was an extremely serious issue and not acceptable both from a philosophical and a health point of view and a serious lapse in service by the restaurant. Had a wonderful dining experience at Benares Tribeca! The food was flavorful, beautifully presented, and had a lovely balance of spices. The vegetarian options were especially delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Great lunch!
Three of us had three different and delicious curries. Great food. Parathas lovely.

Quick service. Best dang lamb korma I’ve ever had. Really solid Indian food and worth the stop!
