I came to the day procedure unit for a procedure. All the staff were training students and just spoke to the students the whole time barely acknowledging me or speaking to me. I was half having a panic attack before the procedure and told multiple staff members I was terrified and no one comforted me or reassured me. Just rushed me in without acknowledging me or speaking to me.

I receive monthly treatment in the Day Procedure unit for IVIG infusion. The staff here are the best I have experienced in my 7 years of receiving my treatment both at St Vincents Private and now in Benalla Day Procedure Unit.

I recently just gave birth to my daughter and was transferred from Wangaratta to Benalla hospital for the postnatal care. All the midwifes were so friendly and helpful. I just want to do a big shout out to our overnight mid-wife “Pommie Kim”. She made our nights so much easier to adjust to, by offering my partner and I to watch our baby for a few hours so we can catch up on sleep. Recently I had a procedure performed at Benalla Health. The level of care and professionalism by all staff in the Day Procedure Unit that I came into contact with throughout the day was exceptional. I highly recommend Benalla Health as a 5 Star Regional Medical Facility.
