Purchased a home in 2023. Two years later, here are my thoughts: #1 and most important info for POTENTIAL BUYERS: the only positive reviews are from people who make commission from the sales or the building of the homes. I highly recommend not going with Ben Stout, especially Soldiers. My wife and I have are pleased with the home we bought. Ben and his team were attentive and easy to work with before the purchase and after.
Spell Estates has had multiple issues with flooding. If you can go with another builder, do it.
My friend in Lumberton, NC bought a new build by Ben Stout. Needless to say, it has been a horrendous experience for her. She found out recently that she has at least 3 of her neighbors leach fields in her backyard. Everyone that had their hands in this build deny they know anything about the situation. So, she has a house with 0 value. Does anyone in that area have the number to a TV station that would do a story about this slime ball?
