The tour is short and it's hit or miss whether you catch them on one of the three days that they're actually making ice-cream. I've been there twice and both times not. Got an ice cream sunday at the dairy bar and was given the wrong sunday. When I did get the correct sunday, it was delicious. They do make good ice cream.
I like a small dish of ice cream. But this place’s version of a small was less than a full scoop. Expensive for a half a scoop.
Cashier berated us for not saying the size in our initial order. She was so rude that I thought she must be doing a "no soup for you" impression but sadly the laugh/joke never came and we decided to leave. I was completely shocked. It was a really sour end to our trip and put us both in a bad mood. No kindness, just a vile attitude that has no place in a customer facing role, especially in a vacation town with frequent interactions with children.
The woman at the front was incredibly rude while we were trying to place our order. We felt rushed, talked down to, and unwelcome.
