They treat our Veterans with respect and compassion!
If your loved one requires assistance with eating or drinking while here, the CNAs make little effort to help and instead let the patient become dangerously dehydrated. This was confirmed by ER doctors at a nearby hospital. CNAs and management have little incentive to care because Tennessee law makes it nearly impossible to sue any nursing home. There are much better facilities in Knoxville that employ staff who care.
My dad has been at this facility for over a year . He came in very weak , thin and could not transfer himself or walk with walker to good on his own . They have him transferring by himself walking with minimal help . And he's gained a lot of weight . He was in a bad way when he came in and just in a few weeks he was stable and alot stronger . They take wonderful care of him . He's kept clean. He's needs are always met . He's cared for with love . They have a wonderful caring team.
