Worst grader in Haywood county. Left me with $150,000 worth of damage. Completely messed up drainage and grading around a building. Didn’t seal pipes. Left brush and logs everywhere along the banks. Had to redo pretty much all of the $100,000+ contract I paid him. His guys are either illegal and dont know how to operate machines (damaged multiple parts of my building) or drunk and high on the job. Michael Kirkpatrick did a great job for us, repairing and sealing our steep 600’ long driveway. I found him to be experienced & knowledgeable, honest, and attentive to detail. He offered cost effective solutions when he easily could have suggested more expensive options, even when I asked about the costlier options myself. The job was completed in the timeframe that we had originally discussed, despite a considerable amount of rain falling over the weeks up to the start of our job. We didn't have the good experience the other reviewers on here did. We found Michael Kilpatrick at BEMK to be extremely unreliable. We chose BEMK because we were told the job would be completed in 2 to 3 weeks. Not only did it take over 2 months, he wouldn't communicate with us unless I reached out to him. He would tell me he would be here one week, then just never show and never call. Then promise to be here the next week and never show and never call. This went on for more than 8 weeks. Michael and his team were great to work with. I am out of state and he made it such an easy process. He was always very accessible whenever I needed to reach him. Michael also face-timed me after the work was complete and walked the whole property to show me the work that had been done. Thank you Michael and BEMK Land Works.
