I have an unusual situation wherein I'm pretty much deaf in my left ear due to surgery for an acoustic nerve tumor. Right ear has only minimal loss. David fitted me with a transmitter in the left. It picks up sounds on the left side and transmits them to the right ear. Life changing for me, especially in social situations.
