Dr. Cushing came to our home to help our beloved 19 years old furbaby Bear, cross the Rainbow Bridge. Since Bear was born in the house, it just felt right that he passed in the house. Dr. Cushing went out of her way to make sure we understood the process. Every step she took was explained in detail so we would understand what to expect. Bear went peacefully, surrounded by the people who loved and cared for him his entire life. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Cushing.
Two weeks ago we lost our sweet 13 year old cat Suzie. Dr.Cushing arrived to our home to guide Suzie to her eternal peace. Though it was heartbreaking to lose her Dr.Cushing's kindness, gentleness and respect for our sweet cat made it bearable. She gave Suzie a respectful send-off and we were left with her little paw print, a piece of her soft fur and the knowledge that as she placed her gently in her basket that she was at peace. Dr. Cushing is wonderful and made a very painful experience as comforting as possible. Can't say enough about in home care. Much less stress for us and our pet.
We made the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye to our 12 year old Black Lab Duncan. Dr. Cushing was simply amazing during such a difficult time. She was kind, understanding and compassionate. She was so gentle with Duncan and helped us all through such a sad day. Words can't express how grateful we are to Dr. Cushing. Our pets deserve the best, and Dr. Cushing makes sure of this.
Jennifer, We appreciate so much the wonderful way you helped us through ending Zoe's life. You made a seemingly unbearable thing much less fraught for us.
