The building is a beautiful high-rise with a lovely feel when you walk in the front doors (almost like a resort & spa). The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food is good too!
My experience with Belmont Village regarding the care of my mother was deeply disappointing. Despite paying for 24/7 caregiving in addition to very steep monthly fees, I observed numerous issues that left me questioning the quality of care provided. Critical care instructions, including those related to medication timing and post-hospital discharge, were not consistently followed. I moved my mom here 2 years ago, and I absolutely recommend it for their memory care program. Her memory was pretty much gone when she moved in, but her engagement and joy of living has definitely improved. It is a joy for me to visit her on her self-contained "Neighborhood" floor with its excellent and caring staff. Unfortunately I can't recommend their independent living program, which is why I can't give them a full 5 stars.
