I had a fantastic experience with Dr Wu and staff yesterday, money well spent, and feeling positive about the future!
Some parts are shiny and new, others are dark and dingy. Paid parking is difficult to sort out and unreasonable. Food is ok if you like overcooked roast pork. Most staff are friendly. Pharmacy needs to get its act together. Don't bring your own medication if you ever want to see it again. Safer to pay their overpriced invoices.
I was put in a room. I had pnd. When it came time to going to bed. The linen had not been changed from the patient before. Dirty sheets full of public hair. I felt sick. And the towels were grotty from the person before.
In general a good service. The staff are average to poor. Quite condescending with little understanding of the complexities of mental health. Not trauma informed staff and inaccurate information given. Trauma caused by a psychiatric only based hospital without regard or response is inexcusable.
