This place is an awesome hidden gem. While traveling from South Carolina to Maine we decided to venture off I-95, and see the coastal regions of Virginia and Maryland. Around lunchtime we found this roadside stop. So glad we checked it out, it will now be a forever stop for us. Great Folks, Great Food, and Great Peanuts!
Stopped here on our way to a family event in Suffolk. We picked up some snacks at their deli store. The next day headed home, we stopped for a late lunch. The food was delicious. I made the mistake of getting a small can of the chocolate covered peanuts. I don’t usually eat sugar but these sounded good. OMGoodness! Truly some of the best things I’ve EVER eaten!!! Stopped for lunch between VA Beach and Wake Forest. Our order was taken at 11:52. We received our two sandwiches an hour later. Come to find out the staff was an hour and half behind, and yet was continuing to take orders and not telling customers how far behind they were-unless you specifically asked. Had the Chef salad and it was great! Went last week and my son had the Chicken Ceasar wrap and he really enjoyed that as well. I've been several times lately and food is consistently good as well as the service. They have lots of things to choose from. Would definitely recommend checking them out.
