The representative I spoke to on 10/16/2025 was rude and today. As a licensed mental health counselor, I have never seen such rudeness in my life. I was trying to assist my client with receiving a specific service and was screamed at and spoken down to. If you do not like interacting with humans then this is not the job for you! We work in the human service field to help people and show compassion not to dehumanize people.
Gave me misinformation regarding 1st time homebuyer requirements and also has changed my position 3 times on the voucher wait-list. Something is going terribly wrong at this location.
I’m in the process of buying my first house. My banker had referred me to take the first time home buyers class through Belmont housing, so I looked up the info, called, and scheduled an appointment. This HAP only looks out for itself they don't care about providers or clients. Move your voucher for yourself a favor SMH
For any property owners I would steer clear of this program. The representatives at Belmont do not promptly respond to anything and will not respond then reduce your payout due to the non response delays caused by them. Very unfortunate as it could be a great program for residents.
