Established in 1960. The complex was purchased from the Montebell family in 1979 by the Armstrong County Recreation Authority and in 1985 by the County of Armstrong.

Great pool except for they harass veterans and their spouses. The lifeguards had an issue with me hugging my spouse who returned from the Navy and we noticed at least 7 other couples hugging and kissing and doing the same exact things as us. The head lifeguard targeted and had other lifeguards harass us. We are never coming back here and my husband had plans to rent out an area for him and some of his friends to reconnect here but he is appalled with the level of blatant disrespect to Milspouses and those who serve and have ... read more
I've taken my son there when he was younger, he loves it there.
not the best rink. water leaks all over the one side of bleachers. all over the steps and floor. it's a wonder no one has fell down the steps yet.
