Belly Up Tavern Been here for a few shows and I like the neighborhood. The drinks are a little expensive and aren't made well. get a beer just to be safe. Also, it gets packed so don't get there too late. They have a "V.I.P" area which I prefer because you have a nice view of the stage and enough room to dance.
Belly up Really popular bar and venue. Its fun to see concerts here. I ahd a great time when i went there. There isnt alot of cool stuff to do in North County,but i had a good time
Best Live Music in Southern California hands down!! – Belly Up is legendary for the acts they get in...great customer service, not too expensive tickets and dirt cheap service prices compared to Ticketmaster venues. i highly recommend this joint!
one of the clubs in the country – right near the beach, cheap drinks, cool bartenders, cute girls...what more could you want? this place is always good and the staff is cool

Great indoor venue The Belly Up Tavern is a great music venue with a full service bar and a selection of dinner meals that are very tasty. There is a dance floor in front of the stage; staggered seating runs along both sides of the room. The prices for tickets are reasonable and the acts are fantastic. You cant go wrong when going to the Belly Up. Its always a pleasure.
Another great place to catch a live show. Seen many a bands here and its a great local place to watch awesome music. Its a 21 up place so its not as crowded with kids as SOMA. Its a great location near the beach. Grab a beer, bring some friends and make friends with the bartenders.
