loud enough, smells old in the best way, and makes every normal drive feel like something special. Very happy with this one. But there was a minor annoyance: the driver delivering my Porsche was late, and I had to change my plans for the day. But damn, it was worth it.
Didn’t expect to end up buying an older Mercedes online, but this one looked too clean to pass up. The car showed up with that solid old Benz feel, doors shut heavy, interior smelled like a proper vintage car, and it started right up when it came off the truck. There’s a few age marks here and there, but nothing that wasn’t expected. Paperwork was fine, delivery took a little patience, but I’m happy with how it turned out.
Had a ‘69 Charger shipped out to me from two states over and overall the whole thing went smooth. Car showed up looking exactly like the photos, started right up, drove better than I expected honestly. Interior was clean, body felt solid, no weird surprises once I got it home. Only reason I did 4 stars instead of 5 is the driver showed up a couple hours later than expected, but other than that everything went fine.
Clean deal with D&D Auto Sales, went with a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu and had it shipped, car showed up just like the photos, paint looks right, body straight, interior simple but clean, did a quick check and nothing felt off, started right up, took it out same day runs smooth no hesitation shifts fine, paid around 37k which felt fair for the condition, they kept sending updates before delivery so by the time it arrived there wasn’t much left to ask, just matched what I already saw and that was it
Ended up with a 1970 Pontiac LeMans. Spent some time going over it after delivery, checked the usual spots, and everything looked honest. It’s not a show car, but it runs right and feels solid on the road. That’s exactly what I wanted out of a classic.
