Took my dog in to get his nails trimmed. The lady at the counter was wonderful, however when we got home I noticed patches of blood all over my car seat, upon closer observation both my dogs back nails were bleeding. I understand sometimes it's hard to tell with black dogs nails as you can't see where they start, but you'd think you'd notify the owner if you even think you went too short, I find it difficult to believe that he didn't cry or yelp whatsoever while this was happening.
Dr Karien is great. Really down to earth, explains things clearly and never rushes you. She knows her stuff and genuinely cares about the animals. She went out of her way to make my dog more comfortable this morning. Thank you, definitely recommend.

We are so beyond grateful for the support and kindness we’ve received from Dr Karien and the nurses at the Bellemere vet. Our recently adopted staffy Chilli has recently gone through heartworm treatment, a compulsive disorder diagnosis and a tail amputation and they have really been amazing. Very patient and reassuring. A shoutout to the receptionist Chelsea that has always helped keep our mind at ease. Thank you guys 🙏🏼
Think twice before taking your pets here. The nurses are lovely, but the vet Karien is awful. She has no compassion for animals. Even when I asked her to be more gentle with my upset animal, she scoffed at me. She was obviously irritated by my concern and became quite rude for the rest of the appoinment. Worse still, she was obviously on the upsell. $350 for a test she said would not provide any usful results and another $480 for a blood test she agreed was not required.
