I was shamed by doctor Lichtenberg and his staff because I could not afford to pay my full $1500 deductible directly to him prior to my surgery. I was told they would cancel it and the dr himself recommended I reschedule when I was in a better financial position. I offered to pay a big chunk of it an make a payment plan with the clinic but was told the dr himself was not comfortable waiting to be paid. How ridiculous is that.
