Dr. Kaufman did an excellent job performing surgery. He is patient and kind.
Dr. Kaufman’s level of care and caring are superior in quality and surpass standard excellence. I have few regrets in my life, but one is that I did not initially go to him when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I instead went to a local general surgeon who mutilated my breast. Since most patients do not see an oncologist until after their surgery, he has prepared instructional materials to help patients understand the types and stages of breast cancer and generally recommended procedures for each, explaining why and how they work. Dr Kaufman is a unique provider in his expertise in breast cancer AND having a deep understanding of how to treat patients with kindness, respect & reality. I highly recommend him. Cancer is scary. Dr. Kaufman is the BEST of the best breast surgeon specialists in all areas: expertise, skill, educating his patients as well as their partners through diagrams, analogies, videos in lay person's termonology, giving each as much time as they need, reviews test results and treatments options.
