This would be a one star review if not for the personable and helpful person who answered the phone at BAA. I received a text from an unknown number demanding I create an account to pay a hefty bill. Like another reviewer I wondered if was a scam. After some research I found out that the text regarded a bill for anesthesia services from BAA for a minor surgery done nearly a year before the text was received. My previously deleted bad review was for Salish Sedation.. not this company. My apologies for confusing you both. Salish Sedation is horrendous, stay away from them and use these guys.
I got a text saying simply that they were "Bellingham Anesthesia Associates" and saying here is a link to pay. I get these scam texts regularly, but I had had surgery a few weeks prior in Skagit, so I responded asking for more information, but of course no response. They just kept sending the same text until I said STOP and then blocked them. The only reason why I’m giving 3 stars is because the front desk is so helpful, and they were really nice. Billing department is the worst I’ve worked with. After having surgery, my minimum payments that I could afford were not enough. They would not accept them. They wanted their minimum payments “or I was being sent to collections” he talked over me, raised his voice and told me there was no options for me. Dr saxe threaten i would wake up in icu intubated because his nurse give me a tums- and I did wake up intubated. Not a fun experience and almost seemed intentional after what he had said prior. Not seeing him again.
