The only reason why I’m giving 3 stars is because the front desk is so helpful, and they were really nice. Billing department is the worst I’ve worked with. After having surgery, my minimum payments that I could afford were not enough. They would not accept them. They wanted their minimum payments “or I was being sent to collections” he talked over me, raised his voice and told me there was no options for me. Dr saxe threaten i would wake up in icu intubated because his nurse give me a tums- and I did wake up intubated. Not a fun experience and almost seemed intentional after what he had said prior. Not seeing him again.

Dr saxe threaten i would wake up in icu intubated because his nurse give me a tums- he said this to the nurse and I right before surgery. I woke up intubated unable to breathe, dr saxe looks not concerned. He compares me to a puffer fish while speaking to others in the room. I remember struggling with the intubation/extubation process, him yanking and pulling, it felt stuck, i couldnt breathe. Pain, terrible neck and throat pain afterwards. Right front tooth broken on bottom. I just want to be treated with dignity and respec... read more

I don’t know how worthwhile this review is—if you have an emergency surgery at PeaceHealth, you don’t exactly get to choose who provides your anesthesia. But in case you ever find yourself dealing with Bellingham Anesthesia Associates or a similar billing situation, I want to share my experience. I had an emergency surgery on February 15, 2021, and was granted financial assistance through PeaceHealth. Everything else—even contracted services like Northwest Radiology—was covered, so I assumed anesthesia would be covered too. ... read more
