The labor and delivery staff are great, I delivered both my kids here and they were amazing. That’s the only reason why I am giving them 2 stars. The department of records is UNBELIEVABLY SLOW with the birth certificates. And when you ask why they take so long to finish the birth certificate and send it to the town they just say is their process. What process ?? Do you pile up the paperwork that is handed to you 1 day or the day you deliver the baby? You get bills before you even have documentation of your kid? How is it pos... read more

SO I GAVE A 4 STAR ONLY BECAUSE BEING AT THE HOSPITAL AND TREATED FUNNY WAS OFF TO A BAD START BUT THANKFULLY 2 HOURS OR SO LATER IT GOT BETTER WHEN DR. I’m so thankful I was brought here after having my son. I actually had him at home (not planned) and EMTs arrived after he was delivered by myself. I was high risk the entire pregnancy and was seeing the doctor at Bellevue for my ultrasounds. However I was supposed to deliver at Albany med for the risk factor of my situation. Since he was born at home I was brought here. My son was having difficulty breathing and needed to be in the NICU.
