Thanks for joining the ranks of lazy Abilene food options. You were supposed to be the exception. The mashed potatoes were clearly instant and awful. Don’t serve them if you can’t do it correctly. The rest was salty and over priced. I hate it but after all these years, we are done.

If you're looking for that home made southern style meal, this is the place to go! Yum!!! On top of great food the service was on point and makes you feel welcome!

First time eating there,and food was hit and fresh, service was really great and the atmosphere was really good and had a homey type vibe. We will definitely be back next time we are in abilene.

We stopped by for lunch on a Sunday around 11:30 a.m. and were seated immediately. By the time we left around 12:30, the waiting area was packed, so arriving early definitely paid off. The family-style sides were a fun touch. The fried chicken was delicious—crispy on the outside, tender, and incredibly moist inside. We also ordered the chicken fried steak.
