This place was perfect for my husband and I on our getaway to Newfoundland. By the coast, cozy but still high class. Loved the breakfast and the historical theme of the rooms. Truly remarkable.
My husband and I stayed here for one night in August on our way back to St. John's. What a lovely place. It's a beautiful old home. We stayed in the Bennett room which had a king bed and large bathroom. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. The homemade blueberry pancakes were so good. The china they used was the same pattern my mother had when I was a little girl. Warmed my heart. My husband left behind a souvenir T-shirt in our room. One of the most luxurious places I’ve ever stayed in my life. Well worth the money and an experience you’ll never forget!
We stopped here for a quick overnight stay as we passed through the area. I wish we’d stayed longer! Our room was the perfect blend of historic and modern: four poster bed, quaint bow window, fireplace… but with modern conveniences and excellent WiFi and climate control! The breakfast was incredible, and all served by charming Debbie and Doris. We’ll plan to come back for another visit to make this our destination. One of my favourite places ever stayed in Canada.
Stayed in the Amelia Earhart room and were very impressed. The inn has an excellent blend of modern comforts with traditional decor. It was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented. Our hosts were friendly and helpful.
