Three years ago, I gave birth to my firstborn child here and it was a horrendous experience. After having my second child in a different hospital and state, I can say this with certainty.
I’m still only about 18 weeks into my pregnancy so I can’t say yet how the delivery process will go, but so far everyone has been very kind and helpful. The doctors and midwives are patient and take time to answer questions thoughtfully. I have to give a special shoutout to Julie (or is it Judy?) the triage nurse. I have called that number twice now with some concerns and both times she was calm, kind, and reassuring. I absolutely love her! Thank you for easing an anxious mother’s fears ❤️
(This does not include Julie, she’s a doll) So I went to Bella Nova for the first 20 weeks of my pregnancy. Established doctors, OBs, everything. Due to my job firing me I lost my insurance and just have Medicaid which is fine! Bella nova called and rudely just told me to find care somewhere else lol. I mean I get it? They don’t accept my insurance but it’s been 3 months since I’ve lost my Insurance and they’ve known.
