Please do not buy a home with Meritage if you can help it. Several severe ROC violations that Meritage has dragged their feet on fixing. Empty beer cand burried in the backyard upon move-in as well. Corporate is just as useless at fixing issues as their field staff is. Construction manager outright lied about gaps in the shower panels, which lead to the shower cracking in many locations, which was also a nightmare to get rectified.
