This is a story I must share. On one visit I had with my mom, her roommate was sad, crying and refusing to eat because a lead food service staff member was on vacation. The Activities Director had so much compassion for the roommate that she called the vacationing staff member and he spoke with the roommate, even though he was on vacation. After that call, the roommate was laughing and smiling. These two Bella Terra staff members went above and beyond for a resident! Kudōs to them!!!!
I'm grateful that we found Bella Terra, especially because most of the staff has tenure. Finding a place for my mom has been a relief for me. I can rest at night knowing that my mom is in a safe, clean, friendly and family-like environment. My mom is very picky about the food she eats but she likes the food at Bella Terra.
